“The article presents a study which uses a 360-degree anonymous feedback surveys to examine improvement opportunities for physician’s emotional intelligence. It notes the two of the six core clinical competencies including professionalism and interpersonal or communication skills endorsed by three governing bodies. Results found that physician’s emotional intelligence plays a key role in leadership, teamwork and, clinical, financial and organizational outcomes, necessary to a delivery model.”
